The unpleasant expressions showed by the fans and slammed in the newspapers was not enough and England cricket team captain Paul Collingwood has been banned for the next four matches.
He was taken into account for the less over rate shown by his team in the match with New Zealand in Oval.

Charges were laid by Mark Benson and Steve Davis.
It was found that England received allegation of three overs short of the required rate; that was level two offence. This was upgraded to the level three offence because same kind of over-rate violation was committed by Collingwood against India in the last August.
Collingwood decided not to use his right of appealing, whereas his fellow players also received the fine of 15% of their match fee.
Collingwood said that it is a natural thing that I am disappointing for not joining England cricket team in the coming next four limited-over matches. But as a player I should know and abide rules and regulations and this is my responsibility to accept and bear any penalty in case of any breach of law.
Pietersen said that it was his dream to be a captain of national cricket team. He said that to say about somebody that he is a captain of country team is the most honorable thing which could be.
